Meet Benny Ragazzo, Marine vet and sometime Vegas hoodlum. who is chilling in the ocean side enclave known as the Pacific Palisades. Benny’s psychiatrist thinks that exploring his connection to horses may help ease the post-traumatic stress he suffered whilst serving in Iraq.

As he is following through on his therapists advice, Benny is kicked in the chest by a spooked polo pony. The cause of the incident, a tiny Frenchie named Lola. Benny quickly discovers the Frenchie is owned by his ex, the glamorous Vivian Montague

Involvement with clan Montague is the last thing Benny needs, but it’s too late to back out now. Dog-nappers, murderers, and irate cops with donut issues, not to mention corporate malfeasance of every kind, the trouble comes thick and fast.

Lola the Frenchie meanwhile has a point of view throughout. Sexy-time dog friends from Beverly Hills, feature heavily, as do sausages and a plethora of tummy-ache table snacks snatched from the shouty humans. It’s enough to make a brave little dog go hide in the laundry room, or have gratuitous poopage issues in the back of a luxury automobile.
