Going underground in Seattle
I have posted before about the museum of art in Seattle,Washington and their awesome collection of tribal and native American art. I find mythology, legend and history of all kinds very inspiring and have used references to it in many of my books.
You may also note I am wearing a CBGB t-shirt. CBGB was a legendary underground rock club in New York City. The acronym stands for: "Country, Bluegrass, Blues and other Music for Uplifting Gormandizers". Many of America’s coolest bands got their start there including, The Ramones, Talking Heads, and Johnny Thunder’s Heartbreakers. Seattle too is famous for underground music from the Sub Pop label, including Nirvana, Soundgarden & Mudhoney. But did you know Seattle is actually a city built on another older underground city? If you want to visit this ancient walled city, take the Underground city tour that starts in Pioneer Square [a very cool area of town].
